Annyeong! I'm Leyun. I'm a student at Johns Hopkins University studying computer science and cognitive science, with a minor in applied mathematics.
I love building creative, whimsical projects that explore how people think and how machines work. Most days, you'll find me stitching ideas from AI, education, psychology, startups, design, and whatever rabbit hole I've fallen into that week.
When I'm not doing that, I'm probably hanging out with friends, drinking an unreasonable amount of matcha, scrolling through Pinterest and Substack, or listening to a true crime podcast while convincing myself I should be doing something more productive.

- Intuitive Computing Lab @ JHU '26– Currently an undergraduate research assistant on the ELLA project, an educational robot designed to support children's learning. My work involves testing story-generation pipelines, validating robot facial expressions and gesture systems, and supporting the development of interactive learning experiences using ROS and Docker. lab
- Sports Analytics Research Group @ JHU ’25 Developed an Outfielder Placement Optimization Widget for the Atlantics League as part of the Slugger Widget Development Team. lab
- Bonner Lab @ JHU ’25 Explored core topics in visual cognition, including dimensionality and universality as an undergraduate research assistant where I applied Principal Component Analysis (PCA) to high-dimensional fMRI neural representations to quantify stimulus-related variance across latent dimensions and assisted in designing and evaluating perceptual similarity experiments. lab
